Tutorial: New lead, approval, and visit

This tutorial walks through the full field-to-pipeline cycle: propose a new outlet, wait for your manager to approve it, then log a visit once the lead is on your book.

StepWhoWhere in the app
1. Submit new outletSales repWorkspace → LeadsSubmit lead
2. Track request statusSales repWorkspace → Approvals
3. Approve or rejectSales managerWorkspace → Approvals
4. Record visitSales repLead → VisitsAdd visit

Managers follow the same approval steps in Lead approval workflow.

When you find an outlet that is not on your assigned list:

  1. Open Workspace → Leads.
  2. Click Submit lead (reps see this instead of Create lead).
  3. Select the campaign — the form stays on the campaign step until you pick one.

Choose campaign

  1. Fill the creation fields that appear for that campaign type — pharmacy name, address, contact, etc.
  2. Click Submit for approval.

Submit lead form with creation fields

The request is sent to your manager. You do not get the lead on your list until it is approved.

  1. Open Workspace → Approvals.
  2. Find your request — status is Pending approval until the manager acts.
  3. If rejected, read the manager’s reason and use Resubmit after fixing the details.

Approved requests disappear from pending and the new lead appears under Leads on your assigned book.

Once approved:

  1. Go to Workspace → Leads and locate the new outlet (filter by Latest visit activity or search).
  2. Open the lead row and go to Visits.

Visits list on an approved lead

  1. On the lead’s Visits page, click Add visit.
  2. Set Stage (pipeline step), complete visit field sections for the campaign type, and add an optional note or location.
  3. Click Record visit.

Add visit dialog with stage and field sections

The visit counts toward your Dashboard KPIs and Reports → Visits.

  • Request submitted with all required creation fields
  • Manager approved the request (or you resubmitted after rejection)
  • Lead appears on your assigned list
  • Visit recorded with correct stage and notes
